An Exemplary Wine Palette:

The 112 hectares of vines are mainly driven by Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), in perfect harmony with Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Demanding Selection:

The domain applies a rigorous selection, often reserving more than 50% of the harvest for the great wine, in testimony of its commitment to excellence.

Emblematic Tannic Framework:

Thanks to its significant proportion of Cabernet-Sauvignon, each vintage bears the imprint of a dense, deep tannic structure and a refreshing liveliness, announcing a remarkable aging potential.

Evocative Maturity:

A Legacy Under the Rothschild Seal:

Since 1868, the Château has belonged to the Domaines Barons de Rothschild. At the beginning of 2018, Eric de Rothschild handed over the reins to his daughter, Saskia de Rothschild, who now takes over the management of the property as well as the whole of DBR.
