Purity and Elegance

The Vintage Collection 2015 Blanc de Blancs embodies the meeting between the purity and elegance of Chardonnay, fused with the richness of the vintage.

Assembly :

This cuvée is made from carefully chosen grapes mainly from the Côte des Blancs, renowned for giving freshness and minerality to the wine. Vineyards from Sézannais, Montgueux and the Marne Valley complete this blend.

These different terroirs and soils (clay, limestone, chalk) bring exceptional aromatic complexity to this vintage.

The 2015 vintage :

The winter of 2011 in Champagne was remembered as an "Ice Age", with a prolonged period of intense frost in February, exceeding seasonal norms.

Spring is tumultuous, with the return of frost in April and May. Fortunately, warm, sunny weather sets in in July and continues until the start of the harvest in September.

The bunches, although few in number, are in excellent health condition. The 2015 Chardonnay wines are characterized by their complexity, freshness, tone and balance, with a generous finish.

Tasting :

The delicate bubbles form a regular and lively cord. The color is luminous, slightly golden, with silvery green reflections.

Pure and graceful, this Champagne reveals rural and spring notes of fresh flowers and angelica from the start on the palate.

The aromatic complexity deepens as you taste it: fresh honey and Mirabelle plum, then mint and coriander on the finish.

Its balanced freshness supports the potential of this Blanc de Blancs, still in development, with its fine minerality.

Food & Wine Pairings :

  • Simple pleasure: Salmon tartare with sesame seeds, goat cheese wrap with mint, prawns snacked with coriander, brioche des Rois.
  • Moment of relaxation: Risotto with green asparagus tips, veal casserole, vegetable linguine, waffles.
  • Haute Couture: Boiled egg with seeded bread and truffled butter, sea bass with herbs with Champagne sauce, Tête de Moine AOP, Rocamadour...

Development :

This champagne is aged in cellars for a minimum of 6 years. Guillaume Roffiaen, Cellar Master of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, adapts the dosage of the expedition liqueur to each vintage to highlight its flavors and aromas.

The choice of reserve wine is crucial, taking into account the vintages, harvest years, grape varieties, vinification and aging methods to preserve the unique style of each vintage.
